Visiting Us
If you wish to make a visit and would like to reserve a room in our guest accommodations, please contact the guestmaster at: foresteria@osbnorcia.org
All are welcome to visit the Monastery of San Benedetto, though our space is very limited at present and accommodations at a local hotel may be necessary. We can only accommodate men in our monastery guesthouse but we are happy to reserve rooms for women guests at the convent of Benedictine nuns, a short walk from our monastery.
How to get here
- ROME – SPOLETO – NORCIA by train + bus
Take the train from Termini Station in Rome. Click here for train schedules.
On arriving at Spoleto, go to the bus stop next to the train station. Bus tickets can be purchased at the bar or on the bus. It takes one hour to get to Norcia from Spoleto. Please see the schedule below for bus times.
- ROME – NORCIA by bus
If Termini station is your starting point, take the metro to Tiburtina train station. Go to the Stazione Autobus Tiburtina, across the road. It takes three hours to reach Norcia. At Serravalle, just before the end of the trip, you will be asked to change bus. Make sure you go to Norcia, and not to Cascia or any other town. Please see the bus schedule below for times.
